Sometimes this is easier said than done, but definitely a reminder that life can end so quickly and we need to understand that sometimes things won't go how we intended them to, but it could always be worse. Make sure to add flax seeds to your daily nutrition for maximum health benefits including: great source of fiber (1 tablespoon = 8 gram fiber) which helps keep bowels regular, plant source of omega-3 (an essential fatty acid our bodies need that we can not make) which plays an important role in the anti-inflammatory system in our body, and last, flax seeds contain lignans which reduces the risk of breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. Note: unground flax has a impermeable coating that will pass right through you without absorbing the benefits. Make sure to ground only what you will use that day because pre ground flax will oxidize and spoil quickly. It is useful to get a little coffee grinder. Add flax to: smoothies, cooked oatmeal, yogurt, or pancake batter.
